You hold the spark.
I’m just here to help you find it.
You don’t know what’s missing —
just that something is.
But there’s a hum beneath the surface. A knowing. Like a song you used to love but have forgotten how to hear.
Maybe you’ve started the healing. Maybe you’re just now waking up to the fact that you need to. Either way, you’re not broken – you’re becoming.
That signal is still in you – feral, glowing.
That flame never went out. You can feel it – her – just beneath the noise. Maybe faint. Maybe far.
But not lost.
Just flickering under layers of shoulds and shutdowns.
Just waiting for the dial to turn.
Reiki clears the static.
Turns down the noise. Tunes the dial.
So you can finally hear her again–
and remember who the hell you are. 🔥
What is Reiki?
Part 1: You Have an Energy Body
Your body is more than just flesh and bones. You have thoughts—that’s your mental body. You have emotions—that’s your emotional body. You have a soul—that’s your spiritual body.
And you also have an energy body.
It’s the part of you that holds charge.
Your presence. Your life force. Your fire.
Your power.
In Japanese, that energy is called Reiki—universal life energy. In other cultures, it’s chi or prana.
This idea isn’t new. People have worked with this energy for thousands of years…but when the West traded language for logic, we forgot it was real.
Reiki is both the energy itself and the practice of working with it. Tuning into it. Witnessing it. Helping it move.
Reiki isn’t repair work. It’s rekindling.
Because when your energy burns clear – you do, too.
Part 2: What I Do in a Session
When I offer Reiki, I’m working directly with your energy body — the part of you that holds your emotional charge, your lived experience, and the deep patterns running in the background. I use my palms to sense your energetic system – what’s firing too hard, what’s collapsed, what’s blocked or tangled. Some areas feel noisy, like static or interference. Others feel dim, depleted, or shut down.
Once I’ve connected to your system, I anchor into my own energetic clarity – and hold it steady. It’s not an exchange. And it’s not about effort or control. This is the practice of Reiki: connecting to a universal source of energy and allowing it to move through me, into the shared field between us, and toward what’s ready to shift in you.
Reiki is a process of co-regulation – like striking a tuning fork nearby, or adjusting the dial on a radio. I offer a steady frequency your system can respond to. This isn’t something I do to you. It’s something I offer for you – through presence, precision, and trust in your body’s capacity to come back into rhythm.
Your system does the healing.
I just help make the conditions right.
Part 3: What You Feel as the Client
During a Reiki session, you’ll lie down, fully clothed, in a quiet space. Most people drop quickly into a deep rest. Some feel warmth, tingling, or waves of sensation. Others feel emotions rise – grief, relief, even laughter. Some people cry. Some people fall asleep. Some don’t feel much at all – until later.
There’s no “right” way to experience Reiki. What you feel depends on what your system is ready for. Sometimes it’s subtle. Sometimes it’s intense. But it’s always working.
Afterward, most people describe feeling lighter. Quieter. More grounded. More themselves.
You don’t have to know how it works for it to work.
Your body knows what to do with the energy.
All you have to do is show up and let it.
Benefits of Reiki
Reiki can support you in ways that are subtle, but deeply felt:
Easing pain and tension the body’s been holding too long
Grounding and calm when your system feels overstimulated
Mental clarity when the fog won’t lift
Emotional release when nothing else has touched it
Reconnection to joy, softness, and self-trust
Insight that arises naturally – without forcing answers
It doesn’t push or prescribe. It meets you where you are – and helps you return to yourself.
What to Expect
The full Reiki session lasts about 2 hours. The treatment itself is about an hour and takes place in the comfort of your own home. The additional time allows for setup, breakdown, an orientation before we begin, and space to debrief after we finish.
Session Length & Structure
You’ll be lying down, fully clothed, under a soft blanket. The energy work is gentle and quiet. I’ll make brief contact at your feet and ankles; the rest is hands-off. I’ll move around you as I work, holding my hands a few inches above your body to sense and respond to your energy field.
What Happens During
I’ll share what I noticed – where things felt strong or stuck, how I responded, and what shifted. You’ll have space to share anything that surfaced, and I’ll leave you with simple practices to continue the work we started together, based on what showed up in your session.
After the Session
Integration & What Comes Next
Reiki continues to work after the session ends. Drink plenty of water. Rest. And avoid chaotic environments if you can – your energy is still settling. You may feel lighter, calmer, or more open. You might feel tired or emotional. You might notice old patterns surfacing—or falling away. Some shifts are immediate. Others unfold in the days that follow.
Even if you don’t feel it right away, the shift is already in motion.
Give it time. What we started in session is just the beginning.
About Me
I work with people in threshold moments – when things feel raw, uncertain, or in-between. Through birth. Through loss. Through unraveling. Through becoming.
My background is in science and education, but I’ve built my work in community. For years, I’ve supported families, systems, and individuals when the usual tools stop working – and something deeper is needed.
I’ve sat with nervous systems in chaos, grief that has nowhere to go, and transformations that haven’t yet taken shape. Not to fix. But to hold steady. So something real can move.
Reiki is one of the ways I do that. It’s not magic, and it’s not a performance. It’s a practice rooted in nervous system science, emotional truth, and a belief I’ve seen proven again and again: You know how to come home to yourself. Sometimes you just need support remembering how.
That’s how I show up to this work: clearly, quietly, without force. I don’t flinch at discomfort. I stay. I listen. I witness. And I trust your system to show me what it needs – on its own time, in its own way.
The work is subtle. But it’s real.
And it reaches places words can’t.
What It’s Like to Feel Witnessed
“I had been told this kind of work could help, but as someone who leans on science, I came in skeptical. Sara picked up on things I hadn’t told her – and I left feeling more at peace than I’ve been in 18 years.”
– R.
“Sara is so genuinely invested in her clients – caring, warm, and supportive. I healed layers of trauma I didn’t even realize were impacting my life, even after years of therapy. I’m so grateful I took the leap.”
– E.
“Sara immediately put me at ease. We covered so much in a short time, and I’ve had a significant decrease in neck and shoulder pain since my session. I’m so thankful for her help processing what I didn’t even know was still in me.”
– C.
“Sara was very intuitive and offered great insight. I felt lighter and clearer after our session. Can’t wait for the next one.”
– R.

Common Questions
-
That’s actually pretty common – and a good sign your system feels safe enough to let go. The work still happens.
-
Not usually and only if you want to. You don’t need to talk, explain, or do anything at all. At the end, you’ll have space to share if you want to – but it’s totally up to you.
-
You might feel a shift right away. Or you might notice it later – when you react differently, when a stuck place softens, or when something just feels lighter. Reiki works under the surface. It’s okay if you can’t name it.
-
Yes. That said, it might not look how you expect. Reiki is subtle, but it’s measurable in how your nervous system responds – rest, digestion, clarity, emotional release. You don’t have to believe in it or understand it for it to work.
-
That depends on what you’re working through. Some people book one session when they feel off. Others come monthly or seasonally. If you’re not sure, we’ll talk about what makes sense for you.
-
Something comfortable. You’ll be fully clothed and lying down, so think cozy layers–yoga pants, sweatshirts, anything that lets you relax.
-
Yes. I bring the massage table, linens, music, and anything else we’ll need. You don’t need to prepare anything–just have a quiet space ready where we won’t be interrupted.
-
Yes–as long as they’re not in the room with us or causing disruption. This is your time. Protect it.
-
Not at all. The name reflects where my work began, but it’s not where it ends. I work with people of all genders, parents and non-parents alike. If you’re feeling the pull, you belong here.
