Breastfeeding Mentoring

In-person breastfeeding support
in Delta, PA

Clear, practical guidance for real-life feeding challenges.
Help that actually helps.

It’s okay if this isn’t working out the way you hoped it would.

Feeding your baby is supposed to feel good. But that doesn’t always come easily. If you’re here, you’re likely frustrated, exhausted, or just unsure of what to do next.

You’re not broken, and you’re not doing it wrong.

Breastfeeding is a learned skill, not a magical instinct — and learning takes practice, time, and someone who can walk you through it. You don’t need to figure it all out on your own.

I’m here to teach you, not fix you.

I’m Sadie — a professional educator, doula, and lactation counselor.

I’m not a clinician, and you’re not a diagnosis. You’re a new parent learning something hard — and I’m here to help you understand how feeding works and how to make it work for you.

For more than 15 years, my work has centered on helping adults learn complex, high-stakes skills in real-world settings.

Session Details

📍Location: In-person breastfeeding support takes place in my Delta, PA studio.

🕒 Length: 90 minutes

💰 Cost: $135 per visit

During our one-on-one session, we’ll talk through your feeding experience so far, observe a feeding in real time, troubleshoot what’s not working, and create a practical plan you can implement immediately.

  • She made me feel heard.

Having her support has been an absolute lifesaver.

I don’t know if I would have been able to breastfeed without her help.

I felt stronger, more comfortable, and like I could actually do this.

We felt educated, supported, and empowered to tackle what came next.

She tailored everything to my needs and helped me make the best decisions for my baby.

Common Questions

  • I support parents navigating latch difficulties, pain with feeding, supply concerns (low or oversupply), returning to work, weaning, and continuing to breastfeed alongside starting solid foods.

If something feels off, confusing, or harder than it should be, that’s enough reason to reach out. If what you’re navigating is outside my scope, I’ll tell you that clearly and help you figure out next steps.

  • You’re absolutely welcome here.

If you’re feeding breastmilk – in any form – I can help. That includes questions about when to start pumping, how often to pump, flange fit, building a freezer stash, introducing bottles, how much milk your baby needs in a bottle, paced bottle feeding, and how to combine nursing and pumping without burning yourself out.

  • Not exactly. Lactation consultants (IBCLCs) are trained to assess and manage more complex or clinical feeding concerns.

As a Lactation Counselor, my support is educational and physiology-focused. I center on how feeding works under normal conditions – the mechanics of latch, milk transfer, supply and demand, and the skill of making feeding sustainable in real life.

Most feeding challenges aren’t medical problems. They’re skill-based patterns that improve with clear explanation, informed observation, and practical adjustment.

If something points to a medical concern or requires clinical evaluation, I’ll tell you directly and help you connect with the right provider.

  • No. I do not bill insurance directly.

My sessions are 90 minutes of individualized, one-on-one care – a very different model than the brief clinic visits that health insurance typically recognizes.

I can provide a superbill upon request that you can submit to your insurance provider. Some plans offer reimbursement for breastfeeding education or lactation support.

  • Anytime feeding feels harder, more confusing, or more stressful than you expected. Some parents reach out in the first few days home with a newborn. Others come weeks or months later when patterns have settled in and something still doesn’t feel right or when new challenges pop up. It’s never too early or too late. If you think you need help, now is the right time.

  • I offer in-person breastfeeding support in my studio in Delta, PA — about 45 minutes from Bel Air, Lancaster, and York. Quiet and tucked away, the space is easily accessible from Harford County, northern Baltimore County, southern York County, and Lancaster County. Exact directions are shared after booking.
